Sure, you’ve seen me play Black Widow. You’ve seen me play Golden Goddess. You’ve seen me play Buffalo Gold. In fact, I’ll bet you’ve seen me play nearly every slot machine under the sun. But have you ever seen me play blackjack? Or what about roulette? Or maybe craps? You might be asking yourself, “if slots are obviously the most fun thing ever, why would Raja bother playing those other casino games?” I’ll tell you why…
Blackjack. Sure, it might not be as explosive as a Lock It Link game, but the speed of action in blackjack can be just as intense, and as you can see in this video, I still play high-stakes, with up to $4,000 a spin! Plus, you can’t double down playing slots, which I tend to do often during a blackjack session. Splitting my cards can also equal a BIG payday, if my luck is on point. But I really do NOT like it when the dealer has an ace showing. “Would you like to buy insurance, Raja?” No thanks. Total waste of money.
Many people have also called roulette a waste of money (since, admittedly, it does have the worst win odds of all table games), but I’ll be damned if it isn’t serious fun anyway. That anticipation of watching the ball bounce around, and waiting to see if it will land on one of my numbers – quite similar, actually, to many of the wheel spin slot bonuses you’ve seen me play over the years. Plus, there are just so many options with roulette: You can make just one single bet, or you can play several bets at a time – betting on a number (or many numbers) straight up, or betting on all the black numbers, or all the red ones; odds, evens, etc. So many choices. What’s a Raja to do?
This is also a question I ask myself whenever I play craps. I haven’t made any videos of me playing craps yet, but I’ll try to do one for you guys in the not-so-distant future. You’ll see how fun it can be when you have a solid roller who gets to hold the dice for a while. Here too, there are many different ways to bet, from straight numbers to hard ways, and the best is the field (but only the farmer gets rich playing the field bets – I guess it really is the biggest sucker bet of all, if you’re not the farmer). It’s also very cool to be able to look around the table, and see so many peoples’ reactions when those dice are thrown – it gets pretty crazy sometimes.
Still, not quite as crazy as big slot jackpots. So, even though you’ll occasionally see me play blackjack, roulette, and (in the future) craps, from time to time, you can rest assured that The Big Jackpot is a slot channel first and foremost, and it always will be. The other table games may bring about mini booms from time to time, but I don’t think you’ll ever see a BIG BOOM this huge come from anything other than a slot machine.
