My LIVE HIGH-LIMIT blackjack!

The Big Blackjack. Doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, does it? Still, I’ve been playing more and more blackjack lately. In fact, we just added FREE BLACKJACK to my FREE APP (which you can download and play here, as always), but in this post, I’m talking primarily about real money, high-limit blackjack at the casino… It can really get exciting If you’re betting $3,000, or $4,000, or even $5,000 LIVE per hand, as I like to do from time to time. Admittedly, it’s also a good way to lose a lot of money quickly (as I also like to do from time to time). Either way, as you’ll see if you keep reading, variety can be good sometimes, and I like having some variety at the casino. It also keeps things interesting for my Patreon members (who usually get a first or exclusive look at my high-limit blackjack play, as a special perk, just for them). And it also let’s me explore a whole different side of casino strategy. Let’s get into all three of these.

First, variety! Sure, slots will always be my first love, and even within the realm of slot machines, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of different types of machines to choose from. But they’re all still slots. Blackjack is a completely different game, with a completely different feel – no bells, no whistles, no screens. You’ve also probably noticed that I’ve been playing a little more roulette lately, too, for many of the same reasons. And then there were those times when I had to dabble in scratch-off lotto tickets, too. Not my first choice, of course, but the change of pace was nice. Still, outside of slots, it’s been blackjack that’s been piquing my interest lately.

But, as I mentioned, I like to keep some things exclusive to my Patreon members. (In fact, as an aside, I’ll be doing another Patreon-exclusive live stream this coming Tuesday, September 8 – it’s won’t be blackjack, but it will be something fun, I promise; feel free to sign up, if you’re curious. More info here.) Ultimately, I know that a huge portion of my fans don’t care about blackjack – they only want to see slots – so I don’t want to bombard everyone with blackjack videos all the time. It’s a nice extra perk for my patrons – and they’ll often have some good blackjack strategy tips for me, too.

Speaking of blackjack strategy, this is one of the things I really like about this game, compared to slots. And while blackjack isn’t entirely about strategy, it is partially. If you ever decide to play, I’d recommend memorizing a good strategy chart (like this one here). Then, whatever you do, never deviate from that chart, even if you’re “feeling lucky.” I’d also strongly suggest that you never buy ‘insurance’ – huge waste of money, in my opinion, and the less money you lose, the more you can spend on more fun.

And that’s really what it’s all about, isn’t it? Fun? That’s why I play slots. That’s why I play roulette. And that’s why I play blackjack. Good strategy can help with blackjack, but you’re probably still going to lose at it long-term. With slots and roulette, you’re definitely going to lose long-term. But if you’re having fun with all three of those, and maybe other casino games too, then who really cares? My Patreon members know this perhaps better than anyone: Sometimes, it’s worth saying goodbye to a little money in order to have a little fun.
